Our RMH-NY team is here to help throughout your stay. If you would like a tour, have a question, or need assistance, please stop by the Front Desk at any time.

You will also receive Welcome and Check-Out emails with important information, along with a short survey that helps us better understand your family’s needs and continue improving the RMH-NY experience.

Each guest room includes comfort and household items to help make your stay easier. Please make yourself at home while you are here. You are welcome to rearrange furniture to meet your family’s needs; we simply ask that you return it to its original setup before checking out.

To keep guest rooms safe, cooking, heating, and open-flame appliances are not permitted in rooms. This includes microwaves, hot plates, kettles, space heaters, candles, and similar items.

Room inspections  help us maintain fire safety and ensure House guidelines are being followed.

Laundry

Laundry rooms are available on guest floors during designated hours and can be reserved through the Front Desk. Please avoid leaving laundry unattended for long periods so every family has an opportunity to use the machines.

Laundry rooms are located at one end of each guest floor, with the trash room at the other end. Laundry detergent is available at the Front Desk. If you need assistance, please let us know.

Garbage & Recycling

The trash and recycling room is located on your floor, across from the laundry room. Please place trash in the trash chute and recycling in the designated recycling bin. Recycling guidelines are posted nearby, and additional trash bags are provided in your room.

If your family has radiation-related diapers, please contact the Front Desk and our team will assist you with proper disposal.

Medical waste, such as syringes, used tubing, or dressing materials, should be placed in designated sharps or biohazard containers. Please work with your hospital care team and the House team if you need help determining the appropriate disposal method.
